Corentin Lavellan, right-hand man to the Keeper of Clan Lavellan, was probably not the best person his people could have sent to spy on a wartime conclave of the world's best and brightest diplomats. Subtlety and stealth are...not so much his areas of expertise. But his high talent for bullshit and low tolerance for it in return had made him a logical choice, and his clan-mates had put faith in his documented ability to talk his way out of sticky situations.

Fortunately, the entire conclave was blown up by demons before he could get caught. As the sole survivor, he was mistaken for the divine prophet of a religion he doesn't even practice, and quickly recruited into the Inquisition, a semi-holy order attempting to get rid of the demons and end the aforementioned war. It's all gone a bit downhill from there.
